Ⓐ Personal Space

valle della Luna

Fierce free folk
Shadow of a boulder
Hot sand – 2 PM – sun

Waves of jellyfish coasting
    man tiptoeing on sand
    eyes in the sea
    legs stressed

Far at the west of the coast
    Washing dishes in the sea
    No soap – just salt

The smell of a joint
    Laughter and blubber
Bodies naked on scorched sand
    A woman paints on them
    A man watches carefully
Collecting stones – and writing on some

Find a cave
    Ideally with some privacy
Settle down
Learn to swim
Until you become water.

Walk these rocks
Five times a day
Light becomes obsolete.

The rocks
    The homes
The eyes of unseen wild cats
Tamtams and bugles blowing every sunset

At night,
Watch the Milky Way.

How did we end up here, like this?
